Ich habe gerade im Harrison´s nachgeschlagen.
Da werden auch GABA (" A reduction in the Function of cortical and perhaps hippocampal GABAergic inteneurons fits with reduced expresssion of glutamatic acid decarboxylase. However, it is unknown whether this is a primary or compensatory feature of the disorder. Neverthless, defects in parvalbumin-expressing GABAergic interneurons are known to reduce the gamma-frequency activity on EEG, which is a feature of many people with shizophrenia.")
Glutamat (" Reduced excitatory neurotransmitter (glutamate) function is posited based on psychotic and cognitive symptoms generated in humans exposed to ketamine or phencyclidine, which are noncompetitive Antagonist of the NMDA subtype of glutamate Rezeptors. There are reports of altered levels of glutamate rezeptors or associatet proteins in the brains of individuals with shizoprhenia examined postmortem, but no finding have yet been widely replicated.”)
